here’s my new year digital cleanup list if anyone else wants to cleanse their devices of 2018 :)
clear browser history/cookies
clean up email (yeah…. takes a while)
change email password (google will tell u when u last changed yours - i hadn’t since may)
create a separate email account for all promotional emails and subscriptions, and change your email settings on those websites to the appropriate address
i guess the real meaning of being an adult is working hard and saving money enough money for 3 trips to your boyfriend who lives 700 miles away and then having to use all that money on rent that your poor ass father cant pay for. And then even after all of that you STILL come up short $100
I’m disabled, I can’t work for at least 2 more months because I’m recovering from surgery. I’m on crutches in the city of Boston and my apartment is on top of a steep hill so I have to ride an Uber every day to school this coming January so I don't risk any further injuries walking in the ice and snow. I’m also gay, trans and mentally ill so I have to pay for my medications too.
As of today (December 27th) I have to raise $100 for rent by *tomorrow* (December 28th)
If you could spare anything for me these next two months you will have my eternal gratitude. If you want something in exchange I can draw something for you. Please, even if it’s just $10 that would make a world of difference.
Other posts have a lot of shares but not much engagement. I assume having tons of notes discourages help because people assume someone else helped? I dunno tbh
But I do know that I am still desperate.
I donβt have family to ask (bi/pan, nonbinary, & βheathenβ folks get abused or ostracized in my family.)
My irl friends have already done so freaking much. In fact, I didnβt realize how much they loved me until they started giving me places to live, feeding me when they can, and driving me to doctors appointments when theyβre free. Thank you to everyone that has helped, so far. I never thought Iβd live a month into this diagnosis and treatment, but youβve been so good to me despite all of us being broke as complete fuck.
So, hereβs my last-ditch effort to find help dealing with FOOD, bills, meds, co-pays, rides to doctors, or even just staying warm from the snow. I donβt know if I believe this will be more effective.

P.s. please donβt send asks about kidney transplants. I was born with a very weak heart. Iβve had multiple strokes. Even with a friend as a donor, my medical team is reluctant.
i always tell people that it’s an actual problem that we can be watching TV and then someone makes eye contact with molly and we can no longer hear the dialogue, we have to read the subtitles.
and they think we are exaggerating, but a friend came to visit and discovered that, no, that actually happens.
